:welcomeconfetti: Greenybaby, have a look here for some initial tips http://www.thescambaiter.com/forum/Baiting101 then maybe look through some completed baits (http://www.thescambaiter.com/forum/forum/-419-scams-baits-media-resources/completed-baits/top-baits-public and http://www.thescambaiter.com/forum/forum/-419-scams-baits-media-resources/completed-baits/the-ivor-biggun-experience). Basically baiting is very simple, you just need to start off pretending to have believed the scam and acting like a normal victim would, but if/when he asks for an ID send a fake file from fd.xnet.se or something like that, and start to mess the scammer around slowly after that. So long as you keep the incentive there, make the scammer think the money is just one form away or one photo away, you can get away with almost anything :)

Welcome! Looking forward to reading your baits. You can post them in the Protected Baits area. Do read the basics in the newbie section of the forum. And bait safely/anonymously. If someone contacted you on FB, best is to not reply. Either open a bogus FB account with no links to your real life identity or if there was an email address, open a throwaway gmail account just for baiting.

I have no intentions of replying on FB, he gave me an email address which I can respond to, his FB account was only created in the past month so he has probably sent this scam to several people in the hopes of conning at least one person(do people actually fall for these scams???), still not sure what to say, haven't been in the right mood to have fun :shakefist:

Hi! kinda new here too, even though I was a member of the old TSB (mostly a reader). So you lost all the old stuff? even the Coles (and 2.0) sagas? So sad... these were like the best baits ever, classics! How could that happen? :-( Any chance we'll hear good ol' Butch screaming insanities to a poor lad in Nigeria again?

Hiya caco, Unfortunately when the plug was pulled on the old TSB by theFAILURE and LizzyTish, the database was never made public. While we keep the name alive and bought the domain (to ensure it didn't fall in the hands of advertisers) we don't have the old Cole threads. What we do have is a thread where people piece together anything they can from the old threads, it's here: http://www.thescambaiter.com/forum/forum/-419-scams-baits-media-resources/baiters-scammers/3518-the-cole-bait-thread
